Publication Guidelines
1) Manuscript Preparation
General requirements
- Format: MS Word (.doc/.docx); figures/tables embedded and also supplied as separate high-resolution files if requested. It should be in English language
- Originality: The work must be unpublished and not under review elsewhere.
- Length: 4–12 pages (including figures, tables, references).
- Page setup: A4, 1" margins, double column (unless template specifies otherwise).
Style & structure
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt (11 pt for captions), line spacing 1.5.
- Sections: Title; Authors & Affiliations; Abstract (150–250 words); Keywords (4–6); Introduction; Literature Review/Background; Methodology; Results & Discussion; Conclusion; Acknowledgements (optional); References.
- Citations/References: APA or IEEE style; ensure consistency.
- Data & code: Provide links to datasets/code repositories when applicable.
2) Submission Process
- Submit manuscripts via the online submission portal or official journal email as instructed on the website.
- Each submission receives a unique Paper ID for all correspondence.
3) Plagiarism Policy
- All submissions are screened using Turnitin / Plagiarism CheckerX.
- Similarity Index thresholds:
< 10%— Proceed to peer review.10–25%— Returned to authors for revision/clarification.> 25%— Rejected at desk.
4) Peer Review Policy
- All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review.
- Evaluation criteria: originality, relevance, methodological rigor, clarity, ethical compliance, and contribution to the field.
- Possible editorial decisions:
- Accept (as is or with minor edits)
- Revision Required (major/minor; resubmission with responses)
- Reject
5) Ethical Guidelines
- Authorship should reflect substantial contributions; all authors must approve the final manuscript.
6) Copyright & Licensing
- Papers are published under an open-access license permitting sharing and reuse with proper citation.
- After acceptance, authors must submit the signed copyright agreement.
7) Article Publishing Charges (APC)
IJSRTM does not charge any fees for submission, processing, or publication. Authors publish their work free of cost.
8) Post-Acceptance & Publication
- Proofs: galley proofs sent to the corresponding author; return corrections within the specified timeframe.
- Author responsibility: Ensure affiliations, funding, and author names are correct at proof stage—post-publication changes are limited.
